    friendly host
    delicious breakfast
    safe area
    missing bike shed

Staying here with friends was a blast! We loved exploring local shops and biking along the river. The host was incredibly friendly and had an awesome tea selection. Breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh ingredients. Just a heads up, there's no bike shed, but it felt safe enough to leave our bikes at night.

The only downside was the absence of a dedicated bike lock-up area, which made us a bit uneasy about leaving our bikes overnight.

    comfortable rooms
    excellent breakfast
    welcoming atmosphere
    dated decor
    noisy neighbors

Crossing River House Bed And Breakfast had a pretty good vibe. The caretaker, Jay, was super pleasant and made the place feel welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight with options like granola, scrambled eggs, bacon, and avocado toasts. The rooms felt comfortable and quiet enough for a cozy night. The decor felt a bit like someone's personal taste, which took some getting used to but added a unique charm. A little bit of remodeling would improve the overall feel since some areas seemed outdated, yet it was all clean and tidy. The shared bathroom setup might not be everyone's cup of tea, especially if you encounter noisy neighbors. Not knowing about the noise ahead of time was a bit of a letdown, but it didn’t ruin the stay. The fridge space was handy for snacks. Overall, it was a unique place to stay, ideal for those who appreciate B&Bs.

Great location, close to town, very nice host

Breakfast was really good with granola, scrambled eggs with bacon, and avocado toast. The room was super comfortable with air conditioning, private bathroom, and a flat-screen TV. The host has an impressive tea collection too. Just a heads up, there's no bike lock-up area, but it felt safe to leave our bikes outside.

Highly recommend it for B&B lovers

The breakfast was top-notch with homemade granola and eggs that were cooked just right. I really enjoyed the huge tea selection the host had, it felt like being at a friend's cozy place instead of a hotel.

It wasn't exactly cheap though, felt more on the pricey side compared to usual spots.

Staying here with my large family was quite comfortable, and the host was genuinely welcoming! We loved the peaceful atmosphere and enjoyed the delightful breakfast options, including the savory avocado toasts. Plus, our pets felt right at home!

My kids wished for a small playground area outside.

Would definitely recommend for a fleeting moment

Comfortable room, enjoyable breakfast, where the excellent granola and cozy atmosphere helped me relax after a day of exploring, and having free Wi-Fi made planning my next adventures easier.

While the location felt safe, the lack of a bike lock-up area may be a concern for those traveling with bicycles.
